Frequently Asked Questions & Contact Support

Find instant answers to common questions about connecting your mobile camera to your PC, optimizing video resolution, resolving latency issues, or reach out directly to the Canno-Studio CS technical team.

Pairing is simple and takes less than a minute via either high-speed USB cable or wireless local Wi-Fi:

  • Install Canno-Studio CS client on your Windows PC and companion app on your phone.
  • Connect both devices to the same local Wi-Fi network or plug in via USB with debugging/data enabled.
  • Open both applications; your device is automatically detected and ready to broadcast as a system virtual webcam.

No extra manual driver installation is required. The desktop software registers a DirectShow virtual video and audio capture device in your operating system during setup. Applications like Zoom, OBS Studio, Microsoft Teams, Discord, and Google Meet will recognize “Canno-Studio Virtual Camera” immediately in their device lists.

To achieve ultra-low latency (down to 15-30ms):

  • Use a direct USB 3.0 or Type-C cable connection instead of 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
  • If using wireless transmission, connect your PC via Ethernet and your smartphone to a 5GHz Wi-Fi router channel.
  • Select Hardware Acceleration (NVENC, QuickSync, or AMF) inside Canno-Studio video encoding settings.

Canno-Studio CS supports 720p HD, 1080p Full HD, and up to 4K Ultra HD video streams at 30 fps or 60 fps, depending on your smartphone camera hardware capabilities and bandwidth. Manual exposure, white balance, optical zoom, and ISO controls can be adjusted live directly from the desktop control dashboard.

Yes, Canno-Studio CS includes high-fidelity virtual microphone routing with real-time noise suppression. Your smartphone microphone functions as a dedicated USB/Wi-Fi condenser mic input for all desktop voice and video applications without additional audio cables.

Our desktop software supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit architecture), with full integration across OBS, vMix, Zoom, Teams, Skype, and browser-based WebRTC apps. Mobile companion apps are available for modern Android and iOS devices.
